Does infrared radiate under water?
I watched the following video clip on the La Pama volcano eruption. I was wondering, something I often think about, whether infrared heat radiation radiates through the water as it does the air. Would a diver feel the heat as they would if they were on land? This question stems from my radiation experiment, where I discovered water blocks the infrared, whereas glass and greenhouse gases do not.
